Physics of Perception
Understanding light as it interacts with matter allows us to create great works of art and to measure things far away in time and distance. Machines such as the camera, the printer, the telescope, and the human eye all abide by the rules of light and lens, creating a world of widely varied colors and shades. Explore behaviors like polarization and light bending to explain occurrences in the natural world and demonstrate the known features and measures of light in a capstone project.
